How you can help

The HSDR and the animals who call the shelter home are thankful for all of its volunteers who provide their support both directly to the animals and at our many events outside the organization. HSDR volunteers assist us through activities such as dog walking, cat enrichment, kitten feeding, special species enrichment, special events, fundraising and so much more! In every capacity they serve, volunteers are a highly valued resource.

We would like to introduce our new volunteer program. We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following roles:

- Dog Walkers

- Cat Enrichment Volunteers

- Offsite Adoption Volunteers
